Kotobukiya HMM Command Wolf Irvine Custom WIP Part 1

Here comes another big project...

A few photo of what happened so far on the painting front. The mechanical "skeleton" parts are first primed lightly with Tamiya grey primer spray (lightly because it ran out...). sink in parts or parts that should look dirty are pre-shaded with black with an airbrush.

All the parts are then sprayed with a layer of Codex Grey, blending the pre-shades in.

Space Wolf Grey and a codex grey are then mixed together and thinned down to add highlights to various features. Silver and gold detailed are slowly added in, as are black for the hoses. Some of the edges are drybrushed with boltgun metal to make them stand out more.

Next thing to do would be to continue on the gold detail by adding light colour shades. Then a rough wash with black and oil brown to make it look worn out and dirty
