ConclusionI have always loved the 4 legged MS/MA in the Gundam SEED and SEED Destiny. It is a very rare in Gundam to have machines based on animal. And more importantly, Astray Mirage Frame 2nd here is a transformable unit!. There has been only 2 MS in SEED that can transform into a 4 legged MA, and the other one never have a 1/100 scale model made.
There are several things here that would turn people off this model however. Firstly, the colour scheme, Pink and Purple is rarely a "Gundam" colour. Secondly, The 4 legged MA mode is rather odd. Unlike the BuCue series, which are based on dogs/wolfs, this MS's MA mode looks sort of more like.... a frog? It is mainly due to the rather wide and flat MA mode head and the wide spaces of the rear legs.
But overall, I still think this is a good purchase. It is eye catching on the shelf, and it's MS mode, due to it based on the Astray Red Frame, is very poseable for a 1/100 NG. It also comes with all the part of the standard Astray, so you can mix and match to your heart's content for a custom look you want.
