Conclusion
HG 00 Gundam Seven Sword G is essentially a slight retooled of HG 00 Gundam with a whole set of new weapons, with the only real change being the knee armor pieces altered. The biggest draw here is undoubtly the giant GN Buster Sword II. while it is big and rather difficult for 00 Gundam to wield, it does transform into the GN Shield Mode with a little bit of part replacement.
The subtext "G" in the name signify the additional "Gun" added on top of the Seven Sword system: the GN Sword II Blaster. Hanging on the right GN Drive, it sort of balance out the overall look of the kit with the GN Buster Sword II on the left.
To round up the list of new weapon, we have a pair of GN Katar mounted on the new knee armor, and a pair of modified GN Sword II, Long and Short, hanging on the waist. Essentially the same as the standard GN Sword II, but the Long version is given a small handle in rifle mode, while the Short version's sword tip can be be segmented to be used as a whip.
Overall, this feels like a better value for money than the the regular Gundam 00, considering the amount of additional equipment you get from this set. Poseability is naturally a problem with heavy accessories, but considering the visual impact it gain it is not a big problem really.
Just get an action stand and it will be fine.
